Who we are
Scout Media is a social content company out of Saskatoon. For four years we've made short-form video and photo for businesses that want to stay active on social without doing it themselves. Now we're expanding into Regina, and we're looking for local creators to shoot that content on the ground.
What the work looks like
This is freelance work, paid per client, and it grows as we sign more businesses in Regina. A typical job is a single shoot at a client's location where you capture a batch of video and photo, then edit it into content that's ready to post. It's mostly local businesses in real settings, so you're working fast and on your own rather than with a full crew.
The more clients we land in Regina, the more consistent the work becomes.
Who we're looking for
You shoot both video and photo, and you own your gear (camera or a capable phone setup, plus audio)
You edit your own work, for short-form platforms
You're comfortable working solo and fast, run-and-gun, without a crew
You get social content and what performs. Reels, not cinema
You're reliable, easy to work with, and can hit a deadline
You're based in or around Regina and can travel to local shoots
If you're a seasoned film or television pro looking for crewed productions and day rates, this likely isn't the right fit, and that's okay. This is social-first content work with a different rhythm.
